Getting it right

Image
So this is my new home office set up. Since not only do I manage all finances and bills here, but now I get the joy of homeschooling until this Covid-19 crap clears up enough to reopen schools. This will include daily conference calls and video chats with all of the kid's teachers. (Oh what fun! NOT!) This means that a good chunk of my days will be spent. Luckily Joey is getting me a more comfortable chair to go with my new desk.    On another note, I was finally able to find toilet paper. You would think that in a town with over 40 stores it would have been easier to find. But with all the panic buying everywhere ran out...rather quickly. It was luck of the draw that I was able to find two 12 packs today. So of course I grabbed them both so I don't have to worry about it again for a while. I was surprisingly able to locate hand sanitizer as well. (That was yet another thing I was beginning to run low on.)     But for the most part my house is starting to regain some s

On the plus side

Most people are out frantically bulk buying and preparing for the Covid-19 shut down. My question is "Why are you just now preparing?" I mean as far as cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, food... why didn't you have those things in your house before hand? at all times I have at least 2 bottles of hand sanitizer, an abundance of cleaning supplies, and at least enough laundry detergent and toilet paper to last 2 weeks. I mean isn't that just common sense? Are people not clean until it comes to a life threatening illness?     On the plus side, I have most of the things I would need for a two week shut down. Everything but toilet paper. I have enough to last maybe another week, but thanks to the frantic buyers... I can't find any...ANYWHERE. But luckily we do have several packs of baby wipes that we no longer needed because our last 2 that were in diapers are now fully potty trained. (Yay for Damian and Destiny.)     On the plus side of all of this madness, I have

More new stuff

Yup, that's right. Joey went out and got us a king size bed today. And of course with every purchase of a new bed comes new bedding. Brandi and I went and picked it up while Joey was at home waiting for the new bed to be delivered. Now we are just waiting for the new end tables and my new desk to get here. I think it is beyond safe to say that we are spoiled rotten,

New, New, New

Daddy has been treating us left and right. I can promise you that Brandi and I both are very appreciative. We both love our new phones.. We both love our new hair cuts.. We love our vapes.. and we both appreciate him helping fund us so we could get stocked up on the things we may need incase we do end up in quarantine over this whole covid-19 crap. Needless to say we have both been spoiled brats since he has came home.    Now it's time for him to get spoiled a little bit. Brandi and I went out earlier today to get him a new phone. Either later today or tomorrow he will be going to get new tires for the car and an oil change. And he is finally getting to try out his new vape as well. Well his second new vape to be more accurate.    Over all everything is great. We are all happy and well taken care of. It's been pretty damn good and I think both Joey and Brandi would agree.

Gifts from Daddy

Yesterday Joey spoiled both Brandi and I by treating us to new phones. Brandi didn't really want to be on our phone plan, but with some persuasion from both Joey and I she agreed. So yesterday evening I grabbed my purse and headed out to make the purchase that Joey sent me out for.    Two hours and two hundred dollars later, I arrived home to surprise Brandi with her new phone and all the extra bells and whistles. Joey told me to make sure I got us both shock proof cases and temper glass screen protectors. So that's exactly what I did. Especially since Brandi has a bad track record for cracking her screen.     So far she and I both absolutely love our new phones. She's still adjusting to the fact that Joey wants to spoil her as well, but he seems happy to be doing so. He actually told her to get over it, "this is how it works." We are both lucky to have him.    But anyhow, time to stop my rambling and start my day so I'm hopefully not busy this morning

How does this work?

Last night Joey, Brandi, and I decided to make a few changes to our relationship. Joey has moved back home full time and well there were a few extra things that needed taken care of around the house. So things have changed a bit. But I think we are all happy with our new arrangement. The kids are all ecstatic about Joey being home. They hit him by surprise when they all called him Daddy last night.    Brandi seems to be okay with all the changes. Infact I think she is rather happy about everything. She seems content with the fact that all of the kids now have a steady father figure. But more importantly she is happy with the new arrangement. She actually seems at peace today, like a huge weight has been lifted off of her shoulders.    Joey will hopefully be making some major life changes here soon. He's on a hunt for a job closer to home where he isn't having to travel nearly an hour to and from work. He seems to be rather happy about the recent changes as well. He says th

A late update

So Monday I finally caught somewhat of a break. Joey decided to treat me to getting my nails done which went perfectly with the new ring that my lovely wife got me.    Aren't they both gorgeous? I love the way the new nail salon did my nails. I asked for simple and elegant and that's exactly what I got. Same goes for my ring. Brandi is about the only person that has picked a perfect ring without persuasion. It is absolutely perfect.     Speaking of perfect, Joey has finally fully moved back home. Things are going pretty great. The household is running smoothly asides from I think we need a bigger bed. Joey has been snoring away in our bed without a second thought. Which I don't mind, but we need some room to move. Sometimes the body heat is unbearable.    Over the weekend I did manage to get some decorating done. I'll try to get pictures of that later today and make a post. But for now I am going to enjoy some down time. Bright blessings lovelies.

The weekend

So far this weekend has been great. Yesterday we got a visit from my son's nana. Although he didn't do much visiting and was content playing outside with the other kids, it was still a great visit. We had lunch and coffee and just chatted for a bit... Like old times. Plus I was excited to show off our new house and some of the decorating I have gotten done. It's been a while since we have gotten together and just hung out, but hopefully now we will be able to see more of one another.     After she left, I wasn't too productive. I've spent the last 3 weeks going non stop and my body is finally telling me that either I take it easy, or it will make me. So I more or less just lounged around for the remainder of the day. Brandi and Joey luckily picked up my slack and allowed me to nap for a bit while they took care of the kids, cleaning, and making dinner. And thank god for that too because my body was on the verge of crashing.    When I finally did wake up, I woke

This is what happens when you're the only kid home and the mommas decide to travel back to their youth with silly string.

Sad but true

Joey is home tonight. Its a shame he couldn't make it through his steak and crab dinner before he was harassed about going back to the shit hole. But at least we are past that and enjoying our night.

Moving up in life

Guys I have exciting news. Not only have I moved into a new house, but I also just got my new car. YAY! The house is a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath brick home. And I love it.    These are the before. Obviously. I'm still in the process of decorating and getting everything situated. But as you can see from the pictures, this place is huge. My new 50 inch tv looks like a 30 inch in my bedroom. Hell, I even have a full size fridge in my bedroom and still have enough room to comfortably fit a king size bed in here. I have a huge back patio and a huge back yard. I'll be sure to post pictures once I have everything the way I want it.      Now on to my new car.      It's actually a really nice, clean car. It has a lot of new parts, including a nearly new set of tires. No scuffs, no scratches. It drives like a dream. I love it.     Now on to the cuteness. Joey stayed with us this weekend. He is slowly moving his ass back in. But I woke up to this.. this morning
